Adam Leeb, Who am I?

Born in California but raised in Michigan, I have grown up to know both sun and snow. Through many good fortunes, I have been able to experience not only my own town but also many other's around the world. Traveling has provided me with the background and reference for everything I do from the choices I make to the values I hold most important.

My journey has taken me through public high school in the suburbs of detroit to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA for my undergraduate education. Living at and attending MIT proved to be a life changing experience. Without question, the institute provided a first rate education at the same time providing an environment with unparalleled freedoms and a can-do attitude. After graduating from MIT, I am now working at Macquarie. My choice to work in finance was not taken lightly. Even though my passion is still for design, I knew that this opportunity to work in the industry would not last. The skills learned will no doubt help me in the future regardless of the field I end up in. Clearly, this was a big leap from my degree in mechanical engineering but the jump has been worth it so far.

The few projects highlighted on these pages reflect just a small portion of my interests. I am constantly looking for new skills and techniques to try out. Thankfully, I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity and resources in my life to participate in such a wide array of activities. Along with building and design, there are so many other interests that keep me going from scuba diving to camping.
